In this painting what i find interesting is all the multiple colours and different birds whish i did not notice at first. i find it very cool how they were able to put all of these birds so closely together to make what looked like just a swirl of colours.

Title:  Untitled (Blue Painting Light to Dark VII)

Date:
2006
Medium:
Oil on linen
Dimensions:
60 x 50" (152.4 x 127 cm)
Credit Line:
Gift of Steven and Alexandra Cohen

Statement:
In this painting i find the white streaks contrasting against the dark background really cool, i'm guessing they used the "dry brush" method to make this possible. it makes this painting look something like "warp speed" in star trek or star wars.

Title:  Prince amongst Thieves

What i find interesting is, how the artist put all the lines into different forms. theres lots of colours, lines, and different shapes that you wouldn't notice unless you look for a while and really look.
